We’ve published the audio of my one-on-one interview with Wikipedia co-founder, Jimmy Wales, which you can get via the M&G Online article on the interview. This is thanks to Jayne Morgan and Tony Lankester, as well as our very able production assistant Sthembile Gasa. I believe that the M&G Online editor Riaan Wolmarans, who is off ill today, has put out a warrant for my arrest because of all the mistakes he had to correct in the interview transcript, but I have to admit I wasn’t feeling like a perfectionist at 4am in the morning while transcribing it.

I think Tony will also be including excerpts of the interview and perhaps some of his own commentary in his weekly M&G Online podcast too, which you can subscribe to by going to the M&G Online podcast page. The video will be going up soon and the newspaper will also carry excerpts of the interview on Friday when it comes out. Thanks to all the bloggers who submitted questions for Jimmy — he was particularly impressed by this.

  1. Off topic, but how do I contact you? I’d like to drop you an email about something. Don’t worry, it’s not spam; you can ask Ray Hartley about who I am. :-)
